So I've bought the Remington Thunderbolt .22 ammo in the past and it seems like half the round fail to fire. When I've pulled the bullet out of the case it appears that in these rounds that fail there is either no or only partial priming compound in the rim. Now, admittedly, its been a few years since I've bought this stuff (just for this reason) but I'm curious as to why this is, how it gets past quality control and if its been fixed yet. I need to pick up some more .22 ammo but I really don't want to chance Remington if this issue hasnt been addressed. Welcome to Arfcom! |
