RRA barrel code list. (Page 3 of 3)

Hi Steve,
I just traded with a dealer for an Entry Tactical, serial number KT1014779. It was special ordered by another customer but never paid for. The barrel is marked C202 under the handguards. The dealer advertised it as a chrome lined 223 Wylde. Is that correct? The dealer also claimed the rifle had the Tactical Carry handle, but when I unpacked it, it had the standard carry handle (gun was still in the plastic bag and tied to the case). Can you tell how it ordered? Have not been to the range yet but it looks and feels great out of the box. Thanks, Curt E. |

| did some searching and found that the "ST" at the beginning of the numbers may mean "Spikes Tactical" so the barrel must have been changed out,there is even a picture of it on Spikes sight ?I have no clue why but going to research it more.now to find out if its a decent barrel or not |

Steve, I bought this upper a couple years ago from quantico arms in Oceanside California . They told me it was a chrome lined barrel but not to sure about that.
The barrel code is BA202 and has a little c ( maybe an inspection stamp) after the number. But is backwards Curious if it's chrome lined or not. Thanks!! |

Steve/RRA Ended up replacing the entire upper. I Took a good look down the barrel and about the 1st inch of rifling was pretty trashed. I pretty much abused the upper so I think I got my money's worth out of it. I'm going to keep it in the spare parts crate. |
| I have a Barrel that I was told came off of a RRA Coyote Carbine. The only Marking on the Barrel is the number '220' What can anyone tell me about the barrel. Is it Chrome Lined? Other than it being a 20" Barrel I dont have any other info. Does RRA make their own barrels or is this barrel from a different manufacturer that you use on your rifles. Im not sure what I have so any info that you could provide would be great. I picked it up cheap beacuse the threads at the breach end are stripped and need to be re-threaded. I live in NY so I need to have something pin welded anyway. I will take as much information as you can give me being again that its a 20" Barrel with marking '220' and is off of a RRA Coyote Carbine. could we get an updated list? If any thing has changed. I just received my ATH Carbine and my numbers are under the ring, except for a 3.(I think) edit: after better examination I found S(or a 6 left side of digit is obscured) /V and 1?(number is partially obscured by ring /13 A little concerned about the 1/13 as the barrel is supposed to be 1/8 |

We've never had a 1:13 (and I've never heard of one, either) bbl, lety alone swapped one in place of a 1:8. Thanks.. Steve/RRA |
| thanks for the reply, I checked the twist with a rod and brush it is 1:8 but I do have a 1/13 etching on the barrel. Some kind of date code? Not a big deal now I was curious and I didn't want to tear the barrel off to see the rest unless absolutely necessary. Besides this I am impressed with the fit and finish on my new rifle . You guys keep up the great work. It was worth the wait. |
I just picked up a RRA and need some info on it. It is stamped "C 200" on top of the barrel under the handguard. In front of the front sight post, on top of he barrel it says "RRA 5.56 NATO 1/9 CM. Basically I don't know what the "C 200" under the handguard means, or what the "CM" means in front of the front sight post. Can anyone help this dumbfounded guy figure it out?  Thanks in advance.

Just purchased a used upper that the guy claimed was a RRA factory complete upper half but I think I may have been duped   . the upper is a flat top with the RRA logo
it has a free float alum hand guard in OD green and 24" stainless barrel with a threaded end and protector. I just removed the hand guard to find the barrel markings and it has no marking any place on the barrel. Is this one of your barrels? Edit: here are some pics

Ordered a barrel from one of the many online stores. In looking at the descriptions here, it doesn't seem to have any RRA codes/markings. I am attaching a few pics, but the only markings are by the chamber/barrel extension. One looks like it is pressed in and was supposed to say "FA", the other looks to be etched on. It is similar to the codes posted in this thread, but I can't find this one and it is also by the chamber/barrel extension. It says "241C/W" with a date below it. Any help from RRA here?

Got to thinking about it...that barrel is to short for the roll stamp in front of the FSH, so the markings over the chamber are all that there would b e on it. Steve |

I just bought a Limited CAR A4 Fluted Complete Upper Half with flip up sights Rail tube and the Dominator II.
Based on the info on RRA's web site it says it is a Chrome Moly Barrel. I looks like it is an HBAR Fluted Barrel. I can't see the top of the chamber due to the Rail tube. The Chamber appears to be Chromed. Is this possible? |

That one isn't ringing any bells.
The AR0203 was a 16" non-threaded moly R4 barrel. I think we did away with them before we went to the current marking pattern It would have been marked with an "N9A" at the time...NATO chamber, 1:9 twist, alloy (unlined chromoly steel, probably 4140 in the case of an AR0203). The C would be for chrome-lined, which an AR0203 isn't. The M, if it is one of ours and marked that way, would be an inspection mark. Interesting. Steve/RRA. . |

My barrel code is 197 C/R with the date 05/08/13 it’s a 14.5”’non pinned barrel thank you for any help. I’ve been all over google and fb groups, I can’t find a solid answer. I just found RRA’s page here. Any information would be appreciated. Is this a barrel for the civilian market or was it for LEO? I know it’s chrome lined but I’m not sure if the twist or anything else. To have been manufactured in 2013, the riflings are great. It has to be a very low round count. The fella I got it from said he didn’t know what type of upper it was. The hand guard was just a generic round hand guard, nothing special. Thanks again. |
