PSA PA10 questions post here (Page 27 of 27)

I've got a Sabre M110a1 that I've got some questions about. First, if I want a different handguard what pattern handguard should I get? I see conflicting info- some say DPMS low and others say proprietary. Second, I'm getting 1.2moa with 140gr ELDM, but I want to get 0.5moa and I want to move back to .308. Would an LR308 pattern barrel work with this upper? I'm thinking Criterion. Rifle shoots awesome but I want to tweak it some and get a bit more performance out of it to be competitive. |

I don't have the Sabre, but regular PSA 308s are a proprietary height that is extremely close to dpms low. Here is my Gen 3 upper with a dpms low handguard.

I hate starting new threads every time I have a question about the PA-10, I kinda though that was why there was a sticky here. Who makes the highest quality, match grade barrels that will work in the PSA? Is it merely a question of the OD of the barrel extension? The handguard you're using must be a factor, so let's say I'll use a PSA handguard too. Do all manufacturers of AR10 type guns use the same diameter barrel extension? |
