| A lot of my mags are tight in mine. I lightly filed the bottom of the lug on the mags I wanted to used with that gun. Didn’t take much. |

Has anyone tried a standard barrel with M4 feed ramps? @PalmettoStateArmory Also the KS-47 essential parts kit is OOS. Any idea of a restock? |

| Figured I would try here one more time. Has anybody taken their KS47 magazine release apart and remember the orientation of the spring? I took mine apart and don't remember how it looked. I should have taken pictures when I pulled the lever off but didn't. I don't think looking at one externally helps my problem as I can't tell from the pictures provided. |

Can’t see the ends of the spring while it’s assembled, unfortunately Attached File Seems like an email to PSA would be your best bet |

My belief is that the cassette style does not play nice with the magazine release of the KS47, at least it didnt with an older AR47 lower that I have. The good news is that the 3 position Arizona Regulator kicks ass in the KS47 and gets you the traditional selector as opposed to the push button of the SS. |

My KS47 pistol is running an AS Designs ARC-Fire FRT trigger with a modified Giessele trigger and over travel stop. I added a Faxon adjustable gas block, an H3 buffer and a Breek Sledgehammer charging handle. I use a YHM RESONATOR R2 on it. Easily one of my favorite firearms. It quieter than 5.56 and works great for how and where I deer hunt. I'm so glad I bought this. |

I don't need to spend 75% of the cost on a Knights rail and iron sights to get it closer. |

I did not adjust my mag catch, but I did pick out 15 mags that were very close to locking up and just lightly shaved the backside of the rear lug. I didn’t have to take much off to get them to fit nicely. |

AC-Unity locks in tight, will not pull out. No play up, down, etc. Note position of mag release. Attached File Magpie locks in tight, will not pull out. Front can be pushed up with upper off. I'm not a fan of Promag at all, but I do have a 75rd Promag AK drum that fits my KS-47. I actually bought it to put in my PTR-32PDW, which most AK drums don't fit in. It's one of the few Promag products that actually work, but they basically copied the Chinese AK drums. I have 1 metal surplus AK mag that sticks in my KS-47. I have to drive out the metal reinforcement pin to remove it. Needless to say, I'm separated it from the pack. But all the other metal AK surplus mags I have all seem to fit. The 20rd Hungarians are the perfect length on the KS-47 SBR with 10.5" barrel. I also tried a ATI Schmeisser S60 60rd & US Palm 30rd mags without any problems. I believe AC Unity has a 60rd mag as well. Too bad the steel case imported 7.62x39mm got cut off. Right before the cut out, there was a batch of subsonic steel case that just hit the market. |
