I just picked up a GLx 1x and I have one complaint about it. But first the positive. The glass is clear and reticle is crisp and easy to see when on or off. Love that. The size and weight are outstanding and will work great on the carry handle of my A2 rifle. And that brings me to the complaint. The bolt that will allow you to attach riser to the carry handle isn’t included. Thankfully the riser is @PrimaryArms why not include the bolt kit with the SLx and GLx micro prism optic? I know the cost isn’t much to buy, but when you add shipping it kind stacks up. I paid more for shipping than I did the bolt kit. Why not add the price into the optic and let it ride. It would be so helpful to, one, not have to chase the part down, and two, to not have the cost of shipping added into a separate order. Some of us do order from other companies if we find a good sale. Now that I’m behind enemy lines, the tax and tax on shipping to Virginia will be bad. One part could make or break a sale. Now with that said, the optic is outstanding and I am going to enjoy it. It’s going to fit my rifle and intended usage perfectly. |

As a Carry Handle Aficionado I understand just wanting the Carry Handle Hardware included in the packaging. There just isn't enough people that buy the carry handle hardware to justify including it in the packaging. We do market it in the optional accessories so that you can include it with your PA Optic and can get the free shipping on the order. |

True it was linked to me and I’m just adding a comment that others would enjoy when they buy this optic. There are a lot of guys building retro rifles and building retro modern rifles too. Five bucks onto the cost of the optic isn’t a big deal. Especially if you ordered it from another company that had been running a sale. The part in total ended up being over $10 bucks. Not a big deal but big enough deal to mention and ask for it to be an option. I live in Virginia and our stupid governor is going to be taxing everything more. Even online sales. Especially gun stuff. I thought about going to a local hardware store to find it as the parts I had here didn’t fit. But by the time I spend going to the places and gas going to places to find the right part I’m into it the same price if not more. @PrimaryArms don’t sell the carey handle gang short. There are a lot more people building these than you can imagine. I built 25 of them at one time. I kept one and made it modern. It’s the best of both worlds. |
