| Be aware that the 12mm long m4 mounting screws included with all of the 407K and 507K sights are too long to Mount the sights on a Rock without them damaging the striker assembly when fully tightened down. They must be shortened to no longer than 10mm to clear the striker assembly. |

| When I bought mine they didn’t include them and I had to shorten them myself. I read a very recent post on the PSA Rock Forum which said they were now including a set of shorter screws. If you don’t receive the shorter screws, to shorten the supplied 12mm M4 screws yourself, you can buy an M4 screw cutter on Amazon for $22 or can screw the screws into one of the 2 supplied red dot adapter plates supplied with the Rock. Secure the plate in a vice and carefully file down the threaded portion of the screw until the screw from the flat top to the bottom of the threads is 10mm in length. When you unscrew it from the plate it will repair any damage to the threads you may have caused during the shortening. |

Wonder if that’ll give you cycling issues. It did. 40 gr AAC supersonic: multiple failures to extract and eject. Finally got 5 in a row to cycle. Unreliable with big can, but a good load unsuppressed. 62 gr Fiochi subsonic: constant jamming. Coating on the casing isn't as prevalent as the AAC. Didn't really even want to cycle without the can. I will shelve this load until I get a gun in 5.7 that is either radial delay or bolt-action. A lighter, more dedicated can will probably be in the offing. The Carnivore is just too big. Best, JBR Has anyone tried this kit? I too think it's an awful lot of mass on an rmr cut and 2 screws, but also, I thought the rock was pretty sensitive to optic weight. I'm surprised it even cycles like that. I like the look though, needs a low bridge over the slide for the optic. |

Picked up my frame last night, and immediately went to the in-store range with it (got the slide and magazines the day before). Second round failed to feed, but I think that was because I bumped the mag release. It ran flawlessly after I reinserted it. Sounded good with the DA Mask. Attached File Today, the nerd holster came. Sorry to post on an old thread New rock owner.... I added a holosun (407) and a Sparrow suppressor. Im having FTE consistently, probably 50 rounds with the red dot and suppressor, about 15 with just the suppressor (no red dot) - all FTE with the spent brass staying in the chamber With just the red dot, no suppressor, she runs good. Only about 75 rounds, but no issues. I have a couple different ammo options on the way. Currently all I have is fiocchi hyperformance 40 grains. I've reached out to PSA, im awaiting additional response. So far they have just asked if the added red dot and suppressor were the issue. Any feedback? Thanks |
