Just use a little Flitz or some other polishing compound and a bullet point polishing tip. Start slow and take it easy. It's not difficult. I won't have time to do it today but might be able to post some pics tomorrow if that's helpful. |

I installed my Holosun and took my 5.7 Rock to the range today. Quickly zeroed and it shot great. 150 rounds of American Eagle with no malfunctions. I’ll probably run another 150 rounds or so before I test it with Gold Dots. If it cycles the Gold Dots, this will be my new nightstand gun. For anyone curious, this pistol feels great in the hand, is accurate, and has low recoil. I was very impressed. |

| Here's the question again, anyone have some ideas on non-paddle OWB Kydex holsters for the Rock? |

| On the PSA forum, a member just posted that he’s going to use a Kydex OWB holster from Muddy River Tactical as he’s used their holsters before and likes them. https://muddyrivertactical.com/product/outside-waistband-kydex-holster/. I checked their website and the Rock is listed in their drop down menu as being one of the pistols supported. |

| FTA Holsters has both IWB and OWB available in several different Kydex choices. They fit both the threaded and non-threaded versions, right handed or left, suppressor height sights, sweat shield, and have an adjustable tension. I know nothing about them but they agreed to make me an OWB with belt loops for a non-threaded in Tiger Stripe camo. I will let you know. |

@palmettoStateArmory Am I missing Rock barrels sold separately? Seems you seek slides without barrels… Got a link for just threaded barrels? |

@PalmettoStateArmory Will you guys be offing a package like this, but with night sights in the future? https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-5-7-rock-complete-rk1-optics-ready-pistol-with-stainless-non-threaded-barrel-lower-1-3-day-sights-10-magazines-psa-pistol-case-two-tone-grey-frame.html I.E. This gun, 10 mags, and case? Currently you offer 7 packages with the Rock. 6 of them are threaded barrels and day sights, and one with non threaded barrel, with day dights. Nothing with night sights. |

| Does anyone know if the back plate on the 5.7 Rock slide can be replaced with a different (Glock) one? I haven't watched all the You-tube videos about this gun yet, but I'm guessing that it is a proprietary design. I would like to install a "Tac-rack" slide racker version, if possible. |

Anyone have any suggestions for getting a rock to cycle with a supressor? Running just a 507K, I've had the occasional failure. Figured it was just break in, seems to have gone away. I've put about 200ish rounds thru it. Running with the 507k/DA Mask it refused to cycle. Slow mo video seems make me think it's not cycling far enough back. I've seen a few say the Mask might be too heavy? Ammo tried so far: FN SS197SR Fiocchi Range Dynamics 40grFMJ Appreciate it |

| I ordered my Rock as a bunch of parts a few weeks ago (slide w/standard barrel, frame, 3 mags and a SS threaded barrel). It took about a week to get everything in, so I’ve been racking and dry firing for about 2 weeks. Lubed it up with Mobil 1 5w20 full synthetic Finally got it to the range yesterday, first 3 shots had me worried, didn’t eject. Almost, but not quite. From the 4th shot on, ran like a dream. As accurate as I am, barely any recoil, loads of fun. |
My son bought one a few weeks ago. Shot it last weekend. Super fun. The noise signature just totally clashes with the recoil. We all kind of laughed. Now I have to get one and a LC Carbine.

| My FFL told me that I can meet my new addition tomorrow. It's a "blem" Rock with the RK1 cut and a threaded barrel. It will also be my first firearm in Flat Earth. From what I can see on the PSA website, slides with the RK1 option also have slide lightening cutouts. Anybody have firsthand experience with this slide? Do the cutouts improve extraction? I will be mounting a Holosun HS407K on it. While the Holosun website currently does not show this sight is available in Flat Earth, I found one on line. I plan to purchase an OWB Flat Earth holster for it. Now if I can just find Flat Earth shoes and matching range bag, as ZZ Top sang, I'll be a sharp dressed man. And if you believe ZZ Top, "Girls go crazy for a sharp dressed man." |

I'm just guessing that the weight distribution must be different between the two slides. If you have both slides you might want to balance each on a knife edge. Then with a caliper measure the distance from the knife edge to the end of each slide. I'm thinking that the center of gravity has moved. The weight loss in the front of the slide has to be made up in the slide's rear section. Thus the CG has moved aft in the RK1 slide. Whether this affects performance I have no idea. Oh, and I pick up my Rock in about two hours. |
