So guys, today 5-12-2022 was day 1 that the ROCK 5.7 went on sale. it sold for a low low price of 499.99 on its debut. it was in stock for a little less than an hour. Of those that have been following this, who all was lucky enough to get one besides myself? It's said that the Ruger 5.7 magazines will fit the ROCK, but the ROCK 5.7 maagazines will not fit the Ruger. So if anyone has both, i'd like definite confirmaiton on this if possible. Also any known holsters that fit it off the bat would be a good thing to know. I'm willing to bet some of the Ruger 57 holsters may fit it. but that's just a guess. we will need proof. I'm a big leather holster guy so im going to be keeping my eye open for Leather Holsters for this rig. i cannot wait to get mine in!!! once i do, i cannot wait to shoot her!! The Rock comes with a PSA Padded case, and two magazines.  heres basically what it looks like :   looks to me to be a solid pistol all around to begin with.. I'll definitely wanna put night sights on it, and from what im seeing it looks like standard glock or dagger sights may work. I'll let you know more when i get mine in from shipping. Perhaps we can get @palmettostatearmory to Pin this thread for us too? I'll ask. maybe get lucky. |

Evidentially also i learned today that www.weare-nerd.com are making holsters (kydex) for it and may be the first holsters out. Chad Wylie spoke of this on the PSA official Rock page on facebook. |

I went down to the gathering this year and got to shoot one..... awesome little handgun that I will definitely buy when the optic cut version with a threaded barrel I've seen photos of is released. I plan to carry mine when I bow hunt. quick notes from shooting it: Pros: very very light recoil flat shooting round ton of rounds on board uses Glock sights cons: holsters will be a little hard to find right off I imagine but that will work itself out ammo is not super super common but its not vaporware either |

IIRC the FN 5.7 had like a really thin barrel and some weird polymer shell slide. I know the ROCK isn't polymer but I'd be curious to see some pics of the internals if anyone would be kind enough to share when they get theirs. Curious if it's like super light or if it just looks like a run of the mill tilting barrel, 9mmish striker fired handgun. |

When i get mine picked up (hopefully tomorrow) i'll try to get some photos up in a timely manner as in depth of photos as my phone will take. |

I can take stills later, but here's a quick run down. The barrel on the Rock is what I'd call "bull" for .22 caliber. Likely done for ease of 1/2" threads, because only like 2 cans are done in 10mm (FSN barrel threads). Internal action is the cam like we've seen on the R57, and OE FSN.. My only complaint is the 8lb pull on the trigger. The pull length, reset are amazing..  A Brand New 5.7x28mm Handgun! Rock ON!! |

Y’all making me jelly! I wish PSA would hurry TF up and drop threaded barrels and the optic cut slides. I will be shooting this suppressed exclusively, just like i do my FN 5.7. It’s 2022. In this say and age, all pistols should be optic ready with threaded bbl and suppressor height sights as base configuration. |

I did not buy one, on the fence with the ammo cost. I handload and just guessing it would be a PITA. I am sure it will be a nice pistol and very pleasant to shoot. Grew up shooting 41 and 44 mag Ruger Blackhawks and 30/357 Herrett Contenders. There is something to be said for pleasant to shoot. |

I can confirm 0 issues after 150 rounds, including the two FN loads and the tash eagle bulk stuff. I can also confirm that a deltapoint micro Glock edition works. Only had to adjust windage to zero it. I got a holster to work, the recovery tactical glock picatinny adapter with the trigger guard blocking holster does work with modification. You simply have to profile where it interfaces with the trigger guard since its got an agressive angle. I already had this part since its included in their complete glock brace kit, its an extra part to the kit or sold standalone. Lights are a hard fit because of that aggressive angle of the trigger guard, but this picatinny adapter fixes that since it drops the accessory rail farther down. I can toggle the light with my off hand index finger in this configuration. I'd attach a photo once I can figure out how on this sight, using my phone at this moment. No modification to the holster required. I'd like to find an OWB adapter for this instead of a paddle holster. | I have a FN Five Seven with a Viridian C5L Light Laser Mounted which I carry in a Garret Silent Thunder Maverick OWB for guns with lights holster. I just got my Rock 5.7 and mounted the C5L on it which fits perfectly. I then tried it in the holster and it fits just fine. |

Finally got to put some rounds through mine with the optic. Only hiccup was that the first few rounds of SS195 short stroked. Ran some 40gr through it and then the lighter stuff cycled fine. Shoots like a laser. Easily one of my most accurate autos. At 25yd i put a full mag into a 2.5" paster with SS197 offhand. One interesting thing, sighted with SS197 at 25yd, SS195 groups about 3" high. Attached File |
