I have a very old , one of the orginal pistol stamped RRA lowers. The buffer tube does not have a castle nut ! How do I get this tube off? |

Use a really hot heat gun or torch to loosen the thread locking compound that is on the threaded portion of the tube that is in the receiver, followed by a 2.5"+ nylon strap wrench (don't melt the strap to the tube...it's been done) on the tube.
