| Oh that will end up in some cops collection. Trust me I know from experience. They destroy pellet guns and the junk that has electric tape on the handles not the nice ones. It is called "checking a gun out and qualifying with it." If you leave the department they will want it back but after years they forget trust me. I would go to the gun room once a week to look at the goodies. Grab one or two then hit the range with free bullets. Sling 50 of their rounds down range and take it home. |

I really don't see how they could fuck him out of it. The gun is legal for the state. He can prove from the dealer paperwork he is the owner. He can prove from LaRue he is the owner if he bought it new. He can prove from the police report it was stolen from him.

When he gets it back, hopefully Narc will do a whole write up with links of the original posts, the gift from Mark etc. This is one hell of a thing.

Hope it comes home soon with no good stories to tell. Over on calguns there have been cases where guys get back guns years later, say its like getting a kid or dog back. |
