Have 3 different phone calls, multiple pictures, a supervisor closed the case and said “it is the correct part”. I just received a non-blem grey a1 stripped upper receiver on July 20th. It’s the same as yours. Very light, almost more of a matte silver than a grey. It surprised me as well. Ordered at the same time, but individual skus, I bought a grey m16a2 pistol lower and corresponding 733 upper, late ‘23 or sometime in 24? Can’t remember, and since then a few random grey parts parts like a delta ring, a slip ring, charging handle, mag release button. Some of the latter being pretty recently. All grey ano stuff had been pretty close until this stripped upper. Some subtle variations in tone between upper, lower, receiver extension, and small parts are actually kindof interesting looking, in my opinion. But there is a line eventually, at some point lol. Must’ve just had a bad batch that slipped through the QC process. |

Are you guys more selling your lowers as completed ones or not doing as many stripped lowers anymore? I haven't read through this entire thread and I am sure if this was answered, are you guys ever looking at doing AR10 retro rifles too? |

I design process equipment lines as a living and the industry standard would consider that is embarrassing if that is acceptable as dark gray. |

With the NFA injunction I am going to bump the ask for an integrally suppressed CLET. I'd be fine with one that takes MP5SD silencers, a hub adapter or even a custom designed suppressor just for it. Doesn't even have to be the full rifles, just an upper if you want to just sell those. |

Fkin swung into the site at midnight randomly last week and scored two black A1 lowers. Literally have never seen them in stock. My gun show rescued black USGI surplus upper now has a home. Didn't need the second one. Just started hitting "add to cart" until it said they didn't have any more. That was only two clicks.  Had to hammer the rear pin in but it looks great. Attached File Edit: Ran a bit by hand and it only cleaned material on the upper which was tight on two lowers. Tightness described above should not be attributed to the H&R lower. Final gun looked good so I gave it to Dad. |

@mike_nds Any chance H&R will build Prototype 5.56s? I missed the boat when NoDak was making prototype uppers and Brownells had their retro line up and running with the BRN-PROTO. Would love for these to come back. I know there’s a lot of us retro lovers that would jump at the opportunity to own/experience one. |
