Please please please add a QD socket to the spacer/end plate. I absolutely love this rifle but added a collapsible stock, and due to the design of the receiver, it appears that one cannot simply add a mil-spec equivalent end plate with a QD socket built in....otherwise I'd do exactly that. I just hate stock mounted slings. For those continuing to use the supplied magpul stock, it would be adequately hidden...but a nice feature for those of us who swap to a collapsible. Otherwise, this thing is damn near perfect. Oh, and please resupply Rooftop with 20" DDC 6.5 please

First, we thank you for your support for our MRGG MK! In terms of QD sockets, it is a great suggestion we can pass along to our design team. Although the Magpul PRS Lite stock does have a nearby QD, if you choose to change the stock it then removes the option. Our SBS stock that is found on the GFR could be an option for those that want an adjustable stock, but a more forward located QD socket. The other option is looking to see if an insert could be located somewhere on the receiver/end plate itself. With a larger lower, maybe its possible to find space in a less traditional, but still applicable location? What are your thoughts? |

Honestly, it would need to be made by you guys given the design of the lower having a protrusion versus a flat with a hole. Otherwise, I’d be asking you guys what wrench you recommend for the “castle” nut and I’d have a traditional solution installed by now. The Tango Down clamp on one would work, but that’s like putting a bolt on tow hitch from 2007 on a 2026 G wagon  Yall make your GFR stock in OD green by chance? Not my first choice but it would at least function. |

Going back up. @GACS Do you have spare black spacers available? IE the piece that goes between the castle nut and the receiver? Also, any clue as to what wrench to use to loosen the nut? I'm going to drill a hole in the spacer that matches the OD of a QD sling end plate, and slap it on in between the spacer and the nut, but I don't want to do that until I have a spare incase something goes wrong. |

@GACS Bumping this because I am still holding on for hope that there will be a QD solution for this. I'm damn near to the point where I'm going to grind the protrusion off the lower and just install a regular QD plate, but I'd really prefer not to do that. Also, if you can please let me know what wrench is suitable for removal of the proprietary castle nut, I'd love to know! Thanks again! |
