Just to throw a shout out that I love the new-ish MP5 rail that’s all 1913 picatinny. I guess I’m old school but I’m back to preferring the easy rails that are ready to go. I have one of the super-expensive KAC handguards and this is essentially 90% of the functionality at a mere fraction of the price without any cut corners. I’m probably going to get a second one for another SBR project when the AP53 gets here from MKE.  I’d love to see the longer HK93 and HK91 handguards come like this eventually too, I’d probably get rid of all my MLOK handguards for them. Something to think about! Also painted mine in RAL8000 and it took the paint perfectly. Any imperfections in the machining would have been obvious! Attached File |

Yeah, sorry guys, you’re in the Midwest industry forum. Forum context is important I guess, though perhaps I could have been more explicit. The handguards are available at Midway, Brownells, Midwest directly, etc. Basically anyone that carries their other products.
