12.5" BCM, stock. I'm unsure which one to go with. I'll mainly be using it for classes, which would require rapid fire and also shooting at night under nods. Shooting wolf gold as my training ammo. Also what should I run under it? Currently I have a standard A2 birdcage, looking for something that interfaces well with whichever Thunderbeast can I get and when the can isn't on reduces flash as good as the A2. Thank you. |

It only has to be replaced if you are shooting actual legit SOCOM/SURG firing schedules. This would be the same for any 17-4 brake. A milspec M4 needs service and inspection after each single cycle to keep operating. Per the FAQ on the product page, Most common 17-4 steel muzzle brakes will be eroded significantly or have critical surfaces destroyed after 2-4 SURGE cycles. How often has your firing schedule destroyed your muzzle brake? If the answer is never, you haven't even exceeded half of what this suppressor can take. |

I wanted durability and repeatability first.... went with Surefire Socom RC2 and SF brake..... Very pleased. Work gun is 12.5 Centurion Arms with T2, Geissele SSA, Surefire Dual Fuel, Magpul, etc.... Attached File |

We designed the SR mount to have the same repeatability/accuracy as the CB (Ultra series) mounts but have secondary retention (required on many modern military bids). Although it looks similar to many "clicky" mounts, the mechanism is different and it by design cannot be "between teeth." |
