 Here are my three: pre-ban R6520 Gov't Carbine; post-ban LE6920HB Law Enforcement Carbine; post-ban MT6400C M4 Carbine. Set-up: GG&G single point sling end plate (all); TangoDown pistol grip (all); Troy Rear Sight (all); Giles single point sling (the Gov't Carbine and LE Carbine); TangoDown Vertical Foregrip (the Gov't Carbine and LE Carbine); Side Sling Mounts (all, purchased one for Gov't Carbine from business listed at link); KAC RAS ( the Gov't Carbine and LE Carbine); MagPul rail protectors and KAC panels (the Gov't Carbine and LE Carbine); Fire control and bolt upgrade from Specialized Armament (Gov't Carbine); Badger Ordnance Tac Latch (all -- only way to go); SureFire M952C (Gov't Carbine); LaRue M68 CCO mount and Aimpoint M2 (Gov't Carbine); DIY conversion of fixed stock to true collapsible stock (M4 Carbine); Muzzle brake removed, barrel threaded and A2FH installed by ADCO Firearms (M4 Carbine); 16.5" 6920 HB (LE Carbine); and 14.5" 6921 HB with GemTech BiLock (Gov't Carbine). Couple more recent builds, you probably saw them in the discussions forum, but here they are  Colt Lighweight Reciever, Colt LPK, Colt Government model M4 marked upper with a 1 in 9 twist, VLTOR stock. $960.00   Top gun is also built on a lightweight reciever, I'll change the upper when I find a cheap Colt lightweight barrel Colt M4A2, 14 1/2" barreled upper, KAC rail system, Colt lightweight reciever, Colt LPK, ADCO stock set up, Surefire 952 with an arms mount, $1140.00 |
A look at the labels off the boxes of my carbines: The M4 Carbine labels are "minimal", to say the least! Note the handwritten "HB" on the LE6920 label. And, no set-up is complete without spare parts for the unexpected:  I keep a number of parts in my kit, including the recommended spare parts from SAW for weapons receiving heavy use or that are located away from armory and parts facilities: Recommended Spare Parts: (1) Bolt, Complete (1) Buffer Retainer & Spring (1) Cam Pin (1) Disconnector (2) Disconnector Spring (1) Ejector (1) Ejector Spring (1) Ejector Pin (1) Extractor (2) Extractor Spring (HD) (1) Extractor Pin (1) Firing Pin (1) Firing Pin Retaining Pin (1) Gas Rings set (3) (1) Hammer Spring (2) Hammer/Trigger Pin (2) Push Pin Detent & Spring (1) Selector Detent & Spring (1) Trigger Spring (1) Trigger (1) Hammer In addition, I've got extra KAC panels of various sizes, a USGI field guage; various batteries and replacement bulbs; Loctite; a spare charging handle with Badger Ordnance Tac Latch; and dummy rounds. |

Hey redfisher if you ever decide to sell the bottom one you have pictured let me know  ..awfully close to the SN of my 6920[/solicitation]So far one Colt (nothin' you ain't seen before, stock 6920), and one Bushy. With plans for another Colt, then another Colt, followd by yet another Colt, and possibly one more Colt. Assorted models..  As far as 1911's go I'm kind of leaning towards that there Springfield Operator, can't help it, it's the only one I like. YardDog I think you're slowly surpassing a collection and heading straight towards an arsenal  |
