I wish I would have discovered Macon earlier in my build. Still, picked up a barrel and buffer from them. Great barrel, execellent quality, awesome CS!

While I absolutely agree that a Left Handed shooter does not NEED a left handed AR, no right handed shooter that has fired one of my Left Handed ARs has ever said “Oh WOW, I like the extra gas in my face!”

Not that Milo
 This now has an Echo II trigger in it with a Spikes ST-T2 buffer. Runs great. I thought it jammed a couple times, but it had actually ran out of ammo THAT fast.  4X Vortex Spitfire Prism. Gemtech GM-45.

BIG THANKS TO RUDY! I had a question about the barrel and spent about 15 minutes on the phone with him before I placed the order, great guy. - Aero upper, no forward assist - 7.5 " Macon Armory barrel - Q Cherry Bomb muzzle device - 6" Midwest Industries MLOK rail - Colt bolt - CMMG deflector - CMMG lower - Geissele T-1 mount w/ Vortex Crossfire - Magpul stock and grip I have only run a mag thru it so far but it runs great, definitely coming back for my 4.5" Glock lower build. Almost finished, just waiting for long 6-32 tap for screw-in bolt catch pin. Range tomorrow, probably with std. roll-pin for bolt catch for now. MI iron sights, and Elf trigger, and their non-rotating pin set in Anderson lower. Going to give a Devil Dog side charging handle a try. Possible up-grades: Cut barrel back an inch or so, then pin & weld muzzle device, and maybe pull the hand guard, and paint to match Grip & Stock. |
