I'm not the biggest fan of the man, but I can appreciate what he was doing back in the day and bringing us new, high quality stuff. |

I'm not the biggest fan of the man, but I can appreciate what he was doing back in the day and bringing us new, high quality stuff. The market is saturated, the growth of the industry right now will be in cans for at least the next year. Everything will get threaded in the free states. |

pistol shipped today. its amazing how quickly something ships when very few people are buying them. Mark has been pretty consistent on Instagram though saying there will only be 100 built and no more. This might end up being at the top of the list for the rarest Larue firearms. i think some of you are missing the point on a short barreled bolt action pistol (rifle) though. i fully plan of doing the paperwork and swapping out that tail hook thing on the end. i am far from an avid or expert hunter but i have a Christenson Arms 6.5 CM SBR that is pretty accurate and spot on in places where a shorter shot might be needed. just an opinion though |

Might be worth asking Larue if they'd just SBR it for you. |

Unfortunately, the brand doesn’t carry the same aura it once did. It hasn’t been the same for a long time, but for me it went away when they shifted away from DTC sales. Maybe they get more exposure now, but I think it’s easy to get lost among the 200+ brands Primary Arms carries, or the 4,300+ brands Optics Planet offers. Getting distributed by Sports South was supposedly a big deal, but they distribute 550+ brands and I've yet to see a LaRue rifle on a shelf in a LGS. Anxious to see what you come up with, but I'm having trouble envisioning a stock that would look good on it. If I was going to SBR a bolt gun, it would probably be a Fix. |

Had he cranked out a 1911 id be way more interested if it competed with the big boys. this is from a guy with a dozen larue rifles. no idea why they would have went away from DTC but in my opinion it was a mistake on the firearms end of sales. |

arrived today. quality excellent as always. Pistol, bolt, and a single mag in a cardboard box. No fanfare or swag included. not disappointed in the product but fell kinda let down seeing how far Larue has fallen from days past. review to come later. going to file Form 1 for SBR tonight |

Have you decided on an optic? i had a Steiner DRS1X red dot site and on the stock part, i removed the Tailhook and had a "Stock" that will attach as a direct fit to the end of the tube i got from a lot of parts i bought in another forum. it looks like a tail hook design but is technically a stock since its sold. i did a "test fit" to get the measurements and put the Tailhook back on. it was a perfect fit. it actually turned out to be a nice little package. i put a Surefire muzzle break on it as i have a Surefire 7.62 Ti suppressor i use on my Siete Rifle that is made specifically for bolt action rifle so all the parts were already in house to complete the package. |

Crazy when the days of limited edition LaRue rifles sold out in time counted by minutes, this looks like it will still be open a month after release. Guess mark has lost track of his base. i wonder who at larue is in charge of all the recent changes? seems someone needs to be fired. |

The 2nd is not about hunting, it never was. It was put in place for one reason and one reason only. You can't have them, we won't give them up, so get over it.
