My wife never goes in the barn. I have a complete archery shop, reloading bench, tons of space to clean, assemble, and admire those "guns" that I dream of having in the distant (way distant) future. For now, I change oil in all the vehicles, and work on "stuff". No harm in that, right?
"Theoretical new can model" might require me to consider expanding my reloading setup tool box and associated inventory.

My AAC M42k on my colt upper has a 3.5 in drop at 50 yds but is repeatable, but on my noveske upper its less than 1/2 an inch. If the change is repeatable then no worries. If it changes everytime you put it on, then there is a problem.
Both of mine are 14.5, yet act different. Every barrel will behave slightly different from the other. |

My 762SOCOMRC is very repeatable on my OBR at 1.5" low at 100y, but making sure I put in the correct elevation change every time is a pain and sows doubt in my mind on that first cold bore shot. |

You can be a smart ass all you want, but 3.5 is a big shift and can be a problem for some folks like me. When Mark started talking about cans a couple months ago my list of features that were important was short. Weight, materials, POI shift. Weight is mediocre. POI shift, if the linked article isn't an outlier, is big. My AAC Ti Titan and Socom762RC both have much smaller POI shift and are plenty repeatable. |

The shift isn't a concern for me because I don't ever plan on shooting my tOBR *without* a suppressor. It just needs to hit the same spot everytime I take it out of the wrench roll and put it all together.

| The POI shift will be consistent as long as your suppressor mount has been installed correctly and/ or your barrel threads are gtg. I seriously doubt there will be any question as to the quality of a LT can or for that matter most any other large manuf.'s. I think a lot is being made of something that is typical of every suppressor. There is usually some shift, simply find that new zero and you're off and running whether it's an inch or four inches. So my suppressor shift is three inches on xx manuf xx gun....and this is a concern why? Every can, barrel and shooter is different and will have different results. Nothing to worry about as long as everything is consistent each time you use it. If you have minimal shift then congrats, not much of a correction to make. I would never correlate a larger shift to a poor quality can (assuming this is the case) because there are so many variables in play. |

In my limited experience my AAC Pilot 2 and my Saker 7.62 both produce some shift. As I use them on different weapons I made a SERIOUS investment and bought a roll of 3M blue painters masking tape. Since I suffer from C(an't) R(emember) S(hit) I mark down on the stocks the load used, orientation of the can and amount of adjustment used and the range for the POI. As mentioned above no worries as I duplicate the information and enjoy consistent performance. I will be waiting in the wings for the perfect suppressor which will do all the thinking for me. I'm sure Mark has his staff designing one at this moment. Until then I will be waiting on my TranQuilo and the coupon to buy the second one. |

Is there a way to order a 16in tOBR with the TranQuilo brake? I only see the flash hider options on the 14.5 pinned tOBR... |

The email will say something to the effect of those that ordered before noon today will get a 1/2 half coupon for a second TranQuilo. ML Slow sales? If I was a bettin' man, I'd bet you could pack all your marketing skills into the bottom third of a thimble. Maybe, my background is in Merchandise Planning and Distribution. Typically if you think you have a great product and it's selling well, why screw your margin by offering what is essentially a BOGO deal to people who have already bought it. That is all

Don't take it personally, I was just wondering. If the price doubles he isn't "loosing" anything for the 1/2 off coupons. And he's not selling them for cost right now either so he's covered for the future discount. |

Then what's your point? The margin he is giving up on future sales is set, if everyone actually cashes them in. How many could it be? Even then he won't be actually loosing money. He's spending advertising money in another way, "giving" it back to customers instead of a big marketing group and he gets great PR feedback from actual customers that are happy with his product. |
