Mark seems to be listening to his customer base very closely. The chamfer on the side of the trigger has increased dramatically from the one I received just a month and a half ago:
Also question: I notice that the original MBT design looked like a Geissele SSA hammer, but the area below the striking face is now a graceful curve. Not only that, but it is not centered, and seems to favor one side over the other. I wonder if there is a reason for the change to a graceful curve, and why the curve is not centered. Is it a "does not matter" thing, or is there an actual reason for the offset machining?

I never looked closely at the spring and assumed it was a lighter hammer spring.

Maybe double dittos as I prefer a single stage too. Might change my mind once I finish the AR-10 build with the MBT in it, but probably not. Depending on how it feels after a couple of shooting sessions, I may put it in the TOBR and use the Black Gold trigger in the new build. That said, my poor old large pin Colt feels left out of the LaRue love fest....

With the change to the LaRue, my groups went to 1.0x-1.4" |

Something you would see commonly in a water-jet cut part, much less noticeable in a laser cut part and on purpose or by mistake on wire EDM. A.W.D. |

Just installed mine. This thing is the tits 
Had 2 identical lowers with BCM Mod 1 grip, SOPMOD, and G SD-C triggers. Seems most people compare it as almost an SSA-E, so in-between an SSA/SSA-E or in my case SD-C and SD-E. Damn if Im not liking the MBT more. Definitely like the $99 I can wait price much more, even getting a nice mil discount on the G triggers. One thing of note, I had to shim my grip screw with a couple washers because it was hitting the back of the trigger and raising it which didn't allow the selector switch to function as designed. I plan to do a test of the MBT vs SD-C on Thursday when I break in a new upper. |
