Steve,
On the PDS upper, can you describe how the rail portion is permanently attached to the receiver? I see it's dovetailed and slides on but how is it permanently attached? |

It's press fit onto the dovetail, and has green Loc-Tite on it as well.
I don't want anyone to have the misperception that it is going to come off, even with incredible effort, without doing significant damage to the rail, the receiver, or both. It isn't. Steve/RRA |
| Ok thanks. I was asking because I pulled my PDS from the safe which was sitting in a hot garage and noticed something 'oozing' from the gap on the side of the receiver where the two pieces are joined. I thought it was residual CLP but it smelled different, almost like epoxy. Must be the green Loctite. |
