Steve,
I'm contemplating shortening my 9" PDS barrel to 8.5". Do you know if the gas port size changed when RRA went from 8.5" to 9"? If so, can you tell me what size the 8.5" had? Also, any chance you guys have an old 8.5" barrel laying around you'd be willing to sell? (would save me the hassle!) |

We started at just over 8" and then went to 9". Both 1:9 twist. I don't show an 8.5" anywhere along the line.
I don't believe the gas port changed when we increased the length, and if I remember correctly, the additional inch was all added forward of the gas port. Steve/RRA |
