Curious to know what is going on with Form 4 certs? I bought a Rattler SBR in June, still haven't been able to certify. My dealer and I keep trying and it times out. At this point I wish I had just picked up a braced rattler. I did a form 1 for a different gun online through my trust and had my stamp back in 2 weeks. I'm now at 3 months and haven't even started the atf waiting game. Tried calling Silencer Shop 3 times today and spent 30+ minutes on hold for nothing.

Has your dealer had issues with other customers certifications? Is it timing out trying to connect to Silencer Shop? Or timing out once you are in eForms? In any event, your dealer should be the one getting in contact with Silencer Shop for help, not you. Since April Ive had very few issues with Silencer Shops Full Auto software or using eForms directly for non SS Form 4's. When I did, this helped: -clear cookies. -reboot computer. -try a different browser. I use Chrome. |

Dealer I'm using is pretty well setup and busy, they have a lot of suppressors in house and SBR rifles. They're not complete newbs on the ATF front but have been frustrated with the process. I think a lot of this is from an arcahic and laggy ATF interface. FWIW, there are a couple of suppressors I need to buy, one for this Rattler in 300BO and another for an MP K-Pistol in 9mm. I'd like to do it through this dealer and SilencerShop, but the process so far has been difficult. |
