I am hoping MI can answer this question. I am looking to fit the MI-516MX on the Sig 716 patrol rifle and believe the only difference between the SIG 516 and the 716 riffle handguards is the barrel nut size. With access to a full machine shop is it possible to modify the MI-516MX fit the Sig 716 patrol rifle? Is there enough material in the MI-516MX to open the bore size to fit the 716 or are there other fitting issues? |
