| I'm very excited for the more affordable offerings of the IR Hunter line and even more so the new IR Patrol X3. I was wondering what your initial impressions and thoughts are of the image quality of the new Patrol X3 with 10 micron, DRS 320 core? Any unit(s) to compare it to? Thanks for any info. and/or feedback you can provide! |

I'm very curious about these two new models myself and I would be very interested in the patrol X3 for a small compact spotting mono. I own a old model MK I 320 scope and have hundreds of hours in the field with this scope.
I'm happy with the scope and controls ,but the image quality is lacking overall compared to other 320 scopes I own/use. IR defense has made many improvements since my MK I 320 scope I would hope the new drs 320 cores and X series will produce better overall image quality if so I'm game to buy one this year. If not I'll be passing for something else. |
