I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for weeks.

I’m going to initiate a chargeback if I don’t hear back from you at the end of the week.

Search my username @gmail if you want to find my order in your system.

LOL!

I'm in my third month of investigation & processing over my Ruger RXM purchase from DACK Outdoors who went bankrupt before ever shipping my pistol

Provided BOA all the documents, e-mails & transaction statements ...

Three fucking months of "we are still investigating & working to resolve your matter"

Credit Card companies sure don't expedite refunding back to You...

F BOA!

SS won't answer their phone or emails.

My only course of action left is to initiate a chargeback.

I'm 3 for 3 on credit card chargebacks. I feel pretty good about this one.

I've had better luck doing this exact same thing, but over email.  Companies will ignore you all up and down for weeks.  Then as soon as an email comes across with "chargeback" in the subject line, they figure out how to respond.

Lots of people on Reddit are initiating chargebacks due to the lack of response from customer service.

I'll probably even have to file a chargeback myself, but I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since they're likely more-than-swamped from orders after the recent NFA ruling.

Still doesn't excuse their incompetence. Good job in court SS, now get your act together and fix your customer service.

Yep, I just tried calling again. Waste of time.

I'm going for it, no sense in waiting any longer.

In no other industry would companies survive treating their customers like this.

To SS in case you ever read this: why bother with advertising if you're so busy with existing orders that you can't keep up and are losing customers? Hire a few temps to take phone calls and gather information and compile it to completion as force multipliers so each of your existing employees effectively has a small team. You should have had a plan in place in case you won. You knew this would happen.

I agree the lack of response through email or answering the phone is atrocious.

Well, I got lucky and made it through to a live person today, after holding for 1 hour and 40 minutes starting at 3pm.

In my case, I was told that I should disregard the status listed in the Item Progress portion of the website Order page, and that the order has recently been approved for transfer (despite the Item Progress saying awaiting F3 submission), however, their shipping department is the bottleneck for everything right now. Rough estimate of at least 1-week to ship once it is approved for transfer and is given to their Shipping department.

I thanked them for their time and dedication in the litigation, and I thanked them for the crazy amount of hours and effort they're putting in to fulfill orders, but I also mentioned there are many other people in this exact same situation, and there is a growing negative sentiment right now due to the inability to get in contact with a real person, and if there is anything they can do to address these increasing number of complaints, it would be prudent to do so. Not that it helps, but even my huge retail dealer couldn't get through by phone, and they are completely in the dark on order and shipping status for their own customers. She seemed appreciative and somewhat understanding, but also extremely tired and monotone... like she's been on the phone all day and wants to go home.

I'll give them another couple of weeks.

Called again. Order was stuck somehow... again. It was never handed over to shipping as they said on the last call... so they lied.

"But don't worry, we got you a new order... it was handed over to shipping yesterday, so it will probably be delivered in about two weeks, maybe three."

Safe to safe they have no fucking clue what they are doing. Poor girl on the phone is brand new, and says all calls are like this.

I see they frequent the site a lot.

What is a democrat? Someone who wants everything you have, except for your job.

I figured there would be a standard duty of care in customer service for Industry Members and Site Sponsors, but it seems nonexistent, even before the August 13th stampede.

They email me every few days saying they need a photo.

I email them back every couple of times saying to cancel, I’ve started a chargeback.

Today I finally got a response from a human saying they have sent it to their accounting to process a refund.

I’ll drop the chargeback as soon as that hits.

To SS: HIRE SOME PEOPLE. If “no one wants to work” you’re offering below market price.
