I'd like to build an 11-13" barreled 308 upper. What barrels are guys using? How about handguards? For guys who have done it, did you build the upper from the ground up, or modify a factory upper? Secondly, what is the compatibility between gen 2 and gen 3? I own a Gen 2 lower, and I believe two Gen 2 uppers. I think they're Gen 2, anyway. I'm not sure how to tell. Do Gen 3 uppers work on Gen 2 lowers? Do Gen 2 uppers work on Gen 3 lowers? Thanks for any reply. @PalmettoStateArmory |

| I bought a complete 12.5" upper from km tactical, $350. I put an adjustable gas block on it, its pistol length gas. I put 60 rounds of ball ammo through it, ran great-just need to test accuracy and shoot the hell out of it...I plan to upgrade the barrel later so im interested in where this thread goes. It's sitting on a blem psa stealth p10 lower from the bf sale fyi. Like $60. |
