How many 2.75" 12 gauge shells would fit in a large lidded GP pouch? Roughly? Also, can someone explain the difference in the short and tall attachment options, because I am slightly tarded. |

I only have the lidded admin gp pouch. Slightly smaller. It can fit 32 12ga rounds haphazardly thrown in, without being overflowing. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

That's a good data point. I would like something I can put some loose rounds in. You don't always need to replace a whole shot card, just top off your tube and a GP pouch looks like it would fit the bill and be multi use. Thanks. |

| I ended up having a M60 ammo pouch that has an elastic retainer at the top. I can stick my hand through the elastic and grab shells and not worry about them jumping out, in case I'm doing something athletic...like tripping over a root. I used one wrap to secure it to the belt for quick on/off if I don't need it. |
