| Hello guys! New to the group - thanks for the add. I inherited a Colt 901 modular from my brother who passed away. The gun is set up for 308 now but for some crazy reason, the charging handle was replaced with an after-market BCM handle for a traditional 308 and is too long. He had numerous other AR-10s which I am in possession of; but, all of the others have their correct handle. At any rate, I know the weapon is discontinued and that handle is proprietary to Colt. Anyone know where I can find one? I have tried all of the traditional sources but coming up short. I was told my a gunsmith that the DPMS Gen 2 Gas Buster Charging Handle MIGHT work... I emailed Precision Reflex who sells it but cannot get any response. Any help would be greatly appreciate! |

They are in production, the difficult part is getting a replacement part out of Colt. The charging handle interface with the upper receiver is different on these than any of my other ARs, it has a sort of rail on one side and a nib on the other. |
