Half Moon Carriers

Is there any value in keeping around a half moon carrier? I remember them being less than ideal and causing issues with cycling for some reason, but a product of Colt lawyerisms.

Unless someone wants to restore an old Colt to its factory configuration I don’t see much value on them..

As for reliability Half moon carriers were fine… those with unshrouded firing pins were problematic

They are needed in Colt lowers that have the sear block. If you don't have that, then no. Put it on the EE.

Kinda what I figured - I don't have a use for it, and I'm not one for holding onto things for sentimental value, but wasn't sure if there was a practical reason to keep it without the matching sear block lower.
