Hi @Green0 any chance one of these is in the works? I read the thread below where it seems a Recce 7K AM is a no-go, but wondered if an HRT-7K AM is doable? Looking for a shorter / lighter hard-use 30cal LBP 3D can and would be willing to compromise on some noise reduction. That DL 7 AM is a beast, same with Reece 7 AM - possibly too big / heavy for what I’m needing. I still shoot my Explorr 300 plenty, but looking for the next get gen stuff that I can run really hard. The DL5 AM is a can that feels like a low pressure can to a right handed shooter, and leaves a little to be desired for a left hand shooter. In function the DL5AM is similar to the KAC NT4 PRG is a guess based on firing that can right handed and watching it toss brass forward of 3 oclock. I shot it and I thought it was an outstanding can, but I didn't shoot it left handed to see if I get distracted by gas occasionally blowing in my face. The DL7 is a low pressure can because the 5 was already nearly low pressure and the 30 cal bore drops it over the edge of the fence and the can is a low pressure can in 308. I think I told you via PM that we have a 308K can coming but not in either series you are talking about. .308 cans ideally are longer to be reasonably performing. That's a function of a can with space for a muzzle device and that larger bore needing more baffled length. If we don't need anything but a very short muzzle device like a micro brake to fit, the can is capable of getting shorter and doing something similar with less length. This is one of the difficulties of making a can with established muzzle device lines. Not everyone wants a can to be basically direct thread. People probably want the .308 cans to still perform. |
