HIPERFIRE releases a new family of high-performance recoil muzzle compensators for 556/223 AR15 rifles, 9mm PCCs, 762 NATO AR10s, and 762 Russian AK pattern firearms. . The family name is still HIPERCOMP, our trademarked name for high-performance compensators. The first HIPERCOMP family’s performance was outstanding, but we wanted them smaller and less expensive. We call this new and improved era of HIPERCOMP, the Next Generation.
We established two design requirements. First, the comps had to be small with the 556 and 9mm having the same form factor as the MIL 556 birdcage flash hider. Second, the comps had to match or exceed the recoil reduction of the best-reviewed aftermarket compensators we could find and test.
We are very happy to report that these designs satisfied our requirements and you should be happy to run them. These new HIPERCOMP NextGen designs produced the greatest felt recoil reduction compared to the best competing comps that we could find for our live fire testing. Look for other HIPERCOMP videos after this one, where we show our test equipment in action and most importantly, the comparative recoil test data.
The new HIPERCOMP family of brakes are small and light for what they do, and less expensive than the better performing competitors. If you’re an AR purist, your rifle can not only achieve the lowest recoil with our comp but also sport a bayonet. Of course, that rifle will have to have an M4 or M16 profile and front sight.
