https://advanced-armament.com/category/accessories/ I picked up two much needed AAC 51T brakes for some newly acquired SBR toys recently. I went in on the AAC 51T and Ti-Rant big time in 2014/15. Several Sdn6's, M42000 & Ti-rants in 9mm & 45acp. I'm curious what this 51T STAMP mount is for? STAMP mounts are for people who want to use a 51T muzzle device with the new suppressors. |

I was wondering if they were a new kind of mount similar to their 51T MAAD mount. |

AAC in the 00’s grew into a major player in the silencer market and helped popularize silencers. The owner sought to make them even more mainstream with financial backing and the marketing, distribution, and sales team of big green (Remington). Rem/Freedom Group bought AAC and mismanaged itself and AAC into the ground, resulting in R going bankrupt. The various FG owned companies were sold at bankruptcy auction for pennies on the dollar and various larger players bought the various pieces. JJE holdings (also own PSA) bought AAC, but ONLY the IP and the name. Not the tooling, parts, etc. The new AAC is not the same company as the old AAC, but they used the name and the IP to startup the new company, and have brought back some of the same/similar products (many of them improved) and the new company continues to innovate/add to its product lineup. Since the new company is not the old company, the old company’s products are not covered under warranty, however, the new company will perform a variety of services (latch repairs, for example) on the old cans, for a not unreasonable fee. They don’t do all services and won’t work on all the old cans, you have to ask what they can/can’t do. Other firms such as ECCO will do work on the old AAC cans. The new company will also modernize old cans and by all accounts these very well done. I am not connected to any of the companies mentioned and cannot speak for them, the above info is from my readings regarding such things and from emails that I had with AAC. |
