Comparing the current Razor HD LHT lineup (3-15x and 4.5-22x) to the Razor HD GenII scopes (3-18x and 4.5-27x) ... How does the glass stack up to one another? The recent Razor HD LHT line is a bit newer than the previous gen Razor HD GenII scopes... was the glass improved? The same? Close but not quite the same? Construction and price points and intended use are obviously very different between the Gen 1/2/3 Razor HD and the HD LH/LHT lineups. But I’m just talking about purely optics here; clarity, CA, focus depth... all the things the Gen 1/2/3 HDs were basically well known for. I’m waffling between putting an HD LHT vs an HD GenII on a gun that’s already heavy enough that I don’t really care about the weight difference and I’m fine with either set of features, otherwise... just cones dow the optics I suppose. |

The Razor HD LHT and the Razor Gen II lineups do use different optical designs, however, both lineups will have the same optical performance and quality that the Gen II's are known for. Choosing between the two will be dependent on your application and feature set you are looking for.
