I was looking for a Black or Tan MK 1 or 2. I found this attached to a Noveske upper for only 1300. I contacted Geissele and they say it's the only OD Green Mk 1 or 2 in existence and was given away as a promotion. It's definitely anodized. I was going to paint it but now that I know its the only one I'll either sell (if the price is right and/or to a proper collector) or put it on a special gun. I was going to use this upper as my main fighting rifle but now I'm thinking different. I'm hoping to find another Black MK1 or 2 at some point. I’m extremely jealous. That’s awesome! |

Finally got time last Wednesday to put my new rail from CWE11 on my spare parts rifle.  Didn't have the barrel nut tool and they were sold out from black Friday sales so I threw this bad boy together with some scrap steel. Yes, I'm totally aware it looks like something you'd keep under your car seat for "close encounters" and/or the zombie apocalypse.   Can confirm it works a treat to tighten the nut securely. I was going by the manual and it says (paraphrasing) that if you have experience building rifles then it shouldn't be an issue not getting exact torque. Don't worry, I'm planning on getting the proper tool. Already have a torque wrench. |
