What's the difference between the G10 and Mk10 handguards? Some uppers are advertised with the G10 free float composite handguard, with a $140 upgrade to the Mk10 handguard.
Has the backorder situation gotten any less nutso in the last few months? |

Our normal hand guards for free float are manufactured from G10 material. They have either one or two sling swivels mounted depending upon length. They are a tactile plain cylindrical hand guard and are extremely tough.
The Mk10 uses the same base material but it is fully ventilated and has integral mounts for rail sections. It allows sling swivel studs to be attached at any of the mounting points. |
