Because some of you don't understand the concept of wait, Capitol Armory has had to put out an email telling you that the wait is going to take longer, up to, and possibly exceeding 8+ months. When I saw the email in my inbox titled "Form 4 Status", I was jumping ,and yelling in pure delight. But, after I settled down long enough to keep ,what should have been a notification to pick up my suppressor, turned out to be a nannygram addressed to those of you that simply cannot wait your turn. You know you are looking at 8+ months if you filed anytime near the 41F/P July 13th deadline. Leave these people alone, I mean it, I'm not screwing around. If one more of you asks about your approval, I'm going to sick ole Buck Yeager on your virgin butts.  |
As much as my response will bother you, I don't care about grammar, punctuation, or spelling. I'm a budding, failing comedian, not an English major. Deal with it!

Check cashed Feb 3, still waiting. Fine. Only jackhole newbs are calling dealers and the ATF after 3-4-5 months, or people who should know better. This is NFA world. It's not for the impatient. And no, your little stamp is not a special snowflake, other than it's a single snowflake in a near-literal avalanche in Atlanta and beyond. And if somehow you think one (or both) of the following two statements, you're probably WRONG: 1. CA (or any other dealer) has your stamp, and is holding out on you because it's fun to store your item AND have you hassle them, and/or 2. CA (or any other dealer) has some direct secret hotline to the ATF where they can call and say "Hey, Mr. Jones wants his stuff in 3 months, can you hurry up?" that gets a result. We buy, we wait. It's how it works. If it makes you feel better, call your congress-critter and see about getting some additional NFA examiners. Otherwise, take some solace in the fact that your added wait comes from hundreds of thousands (or more) of your fellow citizens exercising their rights as well, and that's great news for everyone.

I said "WOOOHOOOO" when I got that email and then I read it and needed a beer. While I have not bothered CA at all since March when I purchased my can, I was glad they updated us with that email, at least I was after I calmed down.

You may have an issue... Mine was cashed the same time and I got my can 3 months ago. ETA : Looking at NFA tracker, I purchased Jan 13 and was approved 07/11. |

I picked mine up on 12/30/17, Oh yeah! Joshua is a hell of a nice guy, even though I tried to state on the 4473 that I resided in all of Texas, his words, my dumb ass mistake.
