Went to Sportsmans Warehouse today to wander around and found a Colt 6960 on the “used” rack. It was new, unfired with factory line still on the bolt and FCG. Came with a cheapo Sig Romeo5 red dot, sling, 4x gen3 window pmags, and a soft case for $669. Wasn’t looking for another AR and I’m not a fan of the rail they used on these but for the price I couldn’t pass on it. Maybe I’ll toss a Geissele rail on it. Attached File Attached File |

That's a great deal congrats, have you fired it yet? It's a smooth shooter, wish Colt would sell the barrel separately. I paid $975 for mine back in 2018/2019 and thought that was a good deal. Didn't care for the Centurion rail so swapped it for the Geissele MK16 13.5" rail, like it much better. I've been meaning to have the barrel cut down to 14.2" for flush fit with the rail and P/W a Surefire 4 prong that's been sitting around for awhile. Attached File |

The rail isn't my favorite either but it works so I don't feel the need to replace it but that barrel is a jewel. Such a sweet shooter. Mine on the right...
