Got my LW 16" midlength Thursday and finally got the rifle together. Just needs a sling.

finally got my Daniel Defense midlenght project finished, barrel, upper, lower, lpk all DD. went with a Adams Arms piston kit also. thank you Daniel Defense for such an awesome product.

I bought my first ever complete AR-15 yesterday... Daniel Defense M4 middy. Love it already. I've always rolled my own... but this was worth it.
Top has been my go to rifle for a long time.. mix master carbine with a Stag complete lower, Fulton Upper with A1 sights, LMT bolt group and charging handle, Bushmaster Patrolman's Rifle barrel, Vortex flash suppressor, ElZetta FSB mount with QD swivel, Surefire G2, BFG Vickers Sling. The bottom rifle is my Daniel Defense M4. I added the MOE handguard, MOE illumination kit, and Surefire 951. Next up is a CTR, Ergo Grip, GGG FSB QD sling mount, BFG Vickers Sling, and an optic of some sort. Haven't figured that out yet

My Colt. First up is when I had the Omega rail on it, and then I caught the bug to make it look more like a SOPMOD Block 2 style rifle (including putting a standard receiver extension on it, bye bye UBR)
If you're wondering about my front sight placement, when it's up front where it belongs, I can't fold the sight back down with the flashlight there. |
Just mounted the new Insight WL1-AA light. Very lightweight, small and is super bright. I had an M3X LED mounted but it got in the way of the front sight post. I have yet to see anyone with this light and I highly recommend it for this type of mounting solution.
