| Like the title says, if you buy an out of stock product from SWFA’s website, do they charge payment on the backordered item when you check out or when it ships? |

When it ships and only if it makes money sense to them. I backordered 10 boxes of ammo a year ago and many places restocked it before them. They eventually contacted me and said they would fill my backorder for only 3 of my 10 boxes and then charge me 10 bucks to ship it making the avg per box similer to other places prices. I contacted them and asked if the other boxes ship free and then they said oh well we are cancelling your remaining order. Buyer beware. Shady business tactics. |
| They charge when the item ships. I’ve done business with them for over 20 years and they have made a good effort to fix any problems. You can trade in scopes. It’s always best to call and ask if an item is in stock. Manufacturing has been challenging for many companies. |
