I just want to swap my FDE (that’s way darker than typical FDE) PLx C for a black one. It was delivered 2 days ago and hasn’t been used. I tried to get an RMA for it and customer service said that since I had bonus bucks as part of the deal (which I used to buy a PLx mount) that I have to return it for a refund minus the bonus bucks, and purchase a new one. So essentially I lose $300. Kind of sucks, but I guess I can just keep it and deal with it but I figured an exchange would be pretty easy. ETA - Scott reached out to me and cleared things up. They are willing to exchange it without going through the refund and repurchase process - it’s just a difficult thing to do in the system |
