Are these two dedicated .22 LR bolt carriers the same? They look identical but I know the CMMG BCG works with my ancient DPMS .22LR barrel, but if the RTB is the same, why spend $50 more for the CMMG brand? Thanks. |

I need a fourth RTB/CMMG .22 LR BCG for my old 1995ish DPMS dedicated upper. FYI, your BCG works fairly well in it, only jamming half as much as the DPMS BCG does, and the extractor groove wasn’t even the right place for your BCG! I had the extractor groove re-cut in the DPMS barrel for the RTB BCG and now it never misses a beat, but I don’t like borrowing the BCG from one of my other builds every time I want to shoot it. Which finally leads me to my question. Any chance we might see the RTB .22 L.R. dedicated BCG go on sale for black Friday? TIA. |
