Hello This V7 Pro upper is fairy new, less than 300 rd. Ejection pattern from Winchester 193 is 2:00, brass trace is only on the edge of the deflector next to the ejection port. Ejection pattern from Weak Wolf 223 FMJ ( not steel case) is 2-3, but sometimes the bolt fails to lock at the last round. From 556, it seems the upper is overgassed. However, from weak 223, the upper is not overgassed but ejection pattern suggests that brass was ejected very late. So either the bolt moves too fast due to overgas or ejection is too slow due to weak ejector/spring so the brass hit the edge of the ejection port. Then I compared the bolt between V7 Pro and another one with good ejection from another complete 16 mid upper. the one with good ejection protrudes more. The v7 Pro's ejector doesn't sit flush with the bolt lug. Does V7 Pro use a different ejection spring/ejector or any components (except barrel, muzzle, and gas tube) from V7?
