I find that odd given that the OmegaX 12.0 FSP (used on the original M4V1) was in fact available separately. Not sure why its successor in the DDM4 line wasn't also available separately. |

Couldn't find either, so I went Geissele and never looked back. |

I've seen OmegaX 12.0 FSP rails for sale on GunBroker occasionally (nearly bought one a year ago, even though I already have an old M4V1 URG with the same rail). You just have to watch for them. DDM4 12.0 FSP rails won't be available separately unless you find one that someone took off a newer-spec M4V1 upper. |

We used to sell them but no longer do. It lost it's popularity due to higher demand for mid-length gas systems, low profile gas blocks, and long rails to cover them. We don't even offer the DDM4 V1 any longer for the same reason. We do, however, still offer the RIS II M4A1 FSP and the newer RIS III 13.0 FSP. One M-1913 and one M-LOK option. Both of there are far easier to install that the DDM4 Rail 12.0 FSP due to the removeable lower rail. |
