Just picked it up and want to install my adapter and can. Is there a preferred method to remove the OEM muzzle device and tighten on new adapter since a traditional reaction rod can't be used 1. Remove rail and use a set of barrel vise jaws 2. Upper Receiver Action Block that uses the take down pins to secure upper receiver----------Receiver is shorter so Upper Receiver Action Block won't work without major mods 3. Upper Receiver Action Block that uses the take down pins to secure upper receiver and has a block to simulate BCG---------Receiver is shorter so Upper Receiver Action Block won't work without major mods 4. Upper Receiver Action Block that clamps to Receiver Pic Rail 5. Upper Receiver Clamshell Action Block A few observations so far Upper Receiver is shorter Charging handle is shorter and has a roll pin for contact with Bolt No company makes a reaction rod for this bolt type |
