I at least have confidence that you guys will make it right if the ones I pick up don't run right.

There is no ATF requirement that a repaired or replaced pistol go through an FFL.

Will you really refuse to return my pistol directly to me?

Follow up a few months down the road - Tough gun to shoot, hurts like a mofo, took 100 rounds or so to break in runs reliably the last 100. Will not be an edc, but pending another 100 or so reliable will be an occasional deep CC / fanny pack carry. The form factor is amazing.
