Ordered some items on Feb 14. Called about a week later because website did not show shipped. The person I talked to said "it's all in stock, I'll ship it today or tomorrow". Another week passes and nothing, so I call again, same reply.
I called March 12 to cancel my order (waited nearly a month). Even though I got their summit discount on top of their already low prices (and not to mention they were like the only place I found that had the magpul handguard I wanted, IN STOCK), I was prepared to spend more money to take my business elsewhere.
So I call and explain that i would like to cancel my order, the gentleman asks if he can look into what happened before we cancel. He says that the mess up is in that some new people he hired mistakenly put my order in a different pile and that he will correct the problem, overnight my items, and give he the handguard for free.
I understand that companies make mistakes, things fall through the cracks, and small companies (as well as big ones) are overloaded as of lately with that wonderful gun salesman in the white house......but what REALLY speaks about a company is how they handle these mistakes! Instead of just saying "OK" and canceling my order and never thinking twice about it, this guy took the time to find out what happened, offered me an explanation, and then took money out of his profit to make things right!
Because of how this problem was solved, I will keep doing business with IWC and spread the good news.
Yes there was a big mistake in my order, but it was handled well and now my order is in my mailbox (hopefully)...shows delivered but signature confirmation shows no signature LOL (thats on USPS though and not IWC) hahaha what luck i have.
