| Has anyone seen or heard of counterfeit slings? Was at a gunshow today and picked up a padded VCAS for only $20 along with a BCM Gunfighter for $35. The VCAS was in a zip lock baggie but had the little info packet with the plastic tie attached. |

So far we have not seen any direct counterfeits of our slings. We have seen some Asian replicas of our load carriage gear available on some airsoft sites. I found some old military contract slings at a gun show in Florida a few years back for a very good price. There are some great deals on older items out there! Do you have any pictures of the VCAS sling? I can take a look at it and see if I can dig up more information on it. Feel free to PM for an email address if you would like to go that way. Today after work I'll snap some pictures. It's a very comfortable sling. I have another one I bought direct from your company about 5 years ago and it has served me well on 3 deployments and carrying everything from M16s, M4s, M27s and even SMAW rocket launcher and never failed me. It's showing it's age however so that's why I picked up this one. Thank you. |

That looks as real as it gets! The packaging and the updated sling label makes it is a circa 2013 / 2014 model. That sling is what we would dub the regular or "commercial" model as they have the single tri-glide up front. The NSN / military models still use the double loop locks. That sling is only a half generation old - the only difference between your sling and a brand new one we would send you today is we now use Nylon 6-6 custom hardware compared to the ITW Acetal hardware as your model.
