I picked up a Sporter Lightweight rifle and would like more info on it. Never seen a 'lightweight' on a Sporter rfle. They are usually 20", this appears to be a 16" pencil barrel. The rear pin is a small pin, and the front is a large pin with the 'sleeve'. Is this an OEM Colt rifle as shipped from the factory? I assume it's from the mid 90's? Have not been able to take the hand guards off yet. Also not that many made? Also is 5.56 ok to use in this rifle? Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |
