I purchased this nos upper from thoroughbred armament a little over a year ago. I assumed it was legit but I was recently told it was fake. I went through the topic from 2019 and looks similar to a one posted that was said to be real so just wanted to make sure. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. Receiver pics Post snapshot |
| I bought it over a year ago and it’s been sitting in my parts drawer, from the quick research I did back then it looked legit and the C didn’t come right off with my finger nail. The person saying it’s fake says the forge mark is wrong/ in the wrong place and there’s no dry lube, which from what I found on other posts/ topics there’s been some some conflicting posts whether dry lube was 100% a must for true colt uppers, I don’t believe it is tho. |
