Colt M5 safety question

I recently purchased a Colt M5 lower from Armsunlimited.com. I put an upper on it, and realized my safety only does a 45 degree throw. Is it supposed to be 90 degrees or 45?

They use standard safety’s so should be 90

All of my M5 safeties are 90deg. I wonder if AU installed a non-Colt safety for some reason.

Pretty sure mine is 90.
